After another long absence

Hi, friends and strangers,
Sorry I have been gone so long. I dropped by here to read the description I did about "Best Leaves of 2005" because I'm struggling to write a paragraph about Portland's autumn leaves to submit to the publisher of a book. I'm not too happy with the stuff I've come up with. But as long as I am here, I will briefly bring you up-to-date.
Artisan Republic is no more, so no more "Robin's Nest." I do keep my news updated on MySpace, at myspace.com/robin_layne, in my blog, "Hatching My Eggs." I am still working on my vampire novel, but also doing a lot of other things. To date, I have published 7 articles on HubPages.com, and plan to do more. I illustrate many of them myself. See [link] I continue to put out a monthly newsletter for a local mental health organization, and I volunteer at a rehab facility. I have also started editing other people's books.
I hope everyone is doing well. Frankly, I'm overwhelmed by the sheer number of deviations and journal entries waiting for me. It was nearly impossible to catch up before, and I'm sure I could never do so now.
I still, or should I say again, like to hang out on Subeta, just for fun. It's rather mindless, I know, but that's what I like about it, generally. It helps me relax. I'm now a multimillionare on the site, which is kind of fun to contemplate.
